- Looking back through January, a lot of things changed.
- Multiple offers from VCs, 10k users in beta.
- SF, xAI, Tavus, Founders Inc., Bass, EO...
- Feels like I'm back to my 2024 self, when I had no hesitation on doing the unconventional.
- Became a "proud son" in a while. My parents bragging about me to their co-workers, friends, and neighbors. This feels great.
- Seen many founding CTOs end up moving to PO roles or similar positions, because they can't grow as fast as the company does. I definitely don't want to end up like that.
- In the past, it was inevitable since it's hard for a founding CTO to catch up the amount of experience required for a scaling company.
- But in the AI era, one can catch up, if smart and fast enough.
